inaugural post

Merry Christmas!! I am sitting in my Aunt's basement in Iowa City, watching my Mom, Mallory, Ann and Penny play a very entertaining game of Wii bowling. This is the first entry of my blog, which in a couple weeks will be dedicated to spreading the stories of my adventures around the world to those of you following at home in the good old U.S. of A. I thought I would get this started now, one because why not? and two so that those of you trying to find this address now would know that you came to the right place. Plus lots of fun and exciting things are going to happen before I set sail. I am getting my wisdom teeth out Monday and I am going to New York for a few days before I go to the Bahamas.
